How do you clean the brown polyester Jessica SIMPSON Latitude Hobo bag with a strap made out of PVC?

I was carrying a bottle of sprite in my bag and the sprite wasted in the bag leaving it to be stained on the bottom after it dried. How would I clean this bag? The bag’s fabric feels like canvass, but it’s not. It says on the tag that it is made up of 100% polyester and the strap is made up of PVC. I was planning on putting it in the washer machine by itself and putting a little bit of washing detergent in the water, then washing it on delicate -gentle mode. Then I was going to take it out to air dry. I If you are a professional on cleaning handbags, how would you clean it?

I don’t recommend trying to clean ANYTHING with a strap made out of PVC.

You should try a brush or cloth, instead. A PVC strap makes a lousy cleaner.
